What Kind of a Leader Am I? ( 50- word essay)

What kind of a leader am I? I am a democratic leader. I will told my ideas at first. I also will ask my group members to talk their opinion. After that we will discuss our ideas. And I will make sure all the group members agree with the conclusion.
 

Overcoming Problems Working In A Small Group (50-word essay)

Working in a group is interesting but it also have lot of problems. Working in  group we must make sure we are state one point at the time. We also need to speak clearly and concisely when we are speaking. The important thing is we must listening to other people.

Facebook Friend (50-word essay)

In this generation, teenagers like to make new friends through Facebook. In my opinion, most of Facebook friends are not a real friend and those who are just comments on your Facebook post. In contrast, a real friend is who takes care about you and sharing their happiness with you.

Three things I need to improve on my presentation skills(50-word essay)

One of the thing I need to improve on my presentation skill is to be more confident. Secondly is arrange the time to make sure does not over time. Last but not least, the skill that I need to improve on my presentation are eyes contact and better body language.

Assignment 3: Unconventional Batiker

For the assignment 3, this is a group assignment. 4 person per group. So, Ester, Jennie Liandra, Angelica and I are in a group. This assignment is about batik. For this assignment we want go to Jadi Batik to do, this also the first trip of our class.Firstly, Ms. Maslisa ask us to sketch our idea.

We have two theme of sketch to snow Ms. Maslisa. One is monkey, another is house. After snow Ms. Maslisa my group member and I decide go with the theme of house.
But after drawing out our theme, all of us feel like missing something, but we do not know what are missing.

 After discuss with Ms. Maslisa we decide to change our theme. The theme we choose this time is monkey. Here are the sketch of theme monkey.

We divide into 4 space, one of us take one space, and we design the monkey of ourself.

Below are the processing of batik. First we draw on the cloth with pencil.

 

After that we use wax to draw the line again.

Then we start to paint.

 This is the first time that I do batik. I feel like very interesting, and I also can't to believe that I can do batik. But I feel we can do better than this. I hope in my future life, I have change to do batik again.

Assignment 2 : Expansion of the Square

After a short lecture Ms. Maslisa ask us ''what is your square?''. At first I have a lot of question mark on my brain, for me the square it is just a square. After that Ms. Maslisa had give us a lot of example, from the example I start to imagine my square.

Here are the things inside my square. It is about a story, this story is about my holiday. One day, I go to beach. It is a sunny day, I sit under a coconut tree, and my hear some nice music with my phone. There have many beautiful seashell on the beach. After that I accidentally fell asleep. I dreamed I became a fish, I can see all the things under the sea.

After tell Ms. Maslisa about my story, Ms. Maslisa help me to choose a theme. my theme is BEACH.

Final

The difficult of this assignment is the size of the square just can 4.5 inch X 4.5 inch. It have some limited of my design because of the size. Another difficult things is we must stick all the paper after cutting. From this assignment it help me to improve  my careful and attentive.

First assignment( unconventional self-portrait)

Our first assignment of this course is unconventional self-portrait. Although Ms. Maslisa unable to attend but she had post on our facebook about the assignment. The different between this assignment and the first assignment of semester one is this assignment we no need to follow any art movement and we can more understand who am I. Below are the process of my first assignment.

For the eyes, nose, and mouse I don't have stick it, because this want to represent my emotion.

This self-portrait is represent two of me, one is happy of me, another is sad of me.

First part of me,I choose the photo with smiling face but it is black and white, this is because  whatever I usually with the smiling face but it is not stand for I am always happy.  

Another part of me, I use lego to made my face with colourful this is represent when I am happy, and also stand for when I having a big problem I will solve the problem with positive thinking. I think it will be more easier to solve.

Greeting Card

The theme of my greeting card is suit and tie. The purpose of using this theme is to make a meaningful card to father. Nowaday, people are always overlook the important of father.

To open this card, you can pull the tie down and you can see the message.

This is my second design. It's a simple and clear design that make up with four different designs of tie. This is because I think that father is a very simple person for me.

The third design is the combination of calling father from different country. This design is to show that how much I love my father. 

Colour Wheel Assignment

For the colour wheel assignment, my group member and I decided to use sugar to make a garden. Firstly we made a platform.

For the sugar part, we melted the sugar.

 After that we added some glucose.The function of the glucose is to make the sugar more translucent.

Then, we added colour into the mixture.

We use the spoon to made the petals one by one.

 When the sugar become cold we took a wire and sticked them one by one like this.

My group member and I were started to arrange the flower.

Final Presentation of Colour Assignment :

The harder part of this assignment is our sugar glass can't stay longer because it will melt, so we only can do it before the submission day.

I feel very happy because I can't believe that I can do the things like this, and it is so amazing.

Paper Cut-outs

This is my paper cut-outs assignment. Papers, glue and a pen knife are the materials for me to done this assignment. The theme that I choose for this assignment is " high tea". The first picture is a teapot and the second picture is a cupcake. At first, the background of the teapot that I want use is gold colour, however I can't find it at any shops, therefore I change the background to yellow colour paper. I feel sad because yellow colour cannot really represent the beauty of using gold colour as the background. The second picture is a cupcake consists a lot of shred, but it is not so clear in this picture. 

After doing this assignment, my cutting skill is improved. I hope I can do better in my next assignment. 

I really will lose you?mom....

  I have done my video. The title of my video is " I really will lose you? mom...". This video is talking about the baby bulb and its mother. The baby bulb and its mother are very happy in the shop, one day a person comes to buy the mother. Therefore, they were separate. Two days later, the person comes to the shop again. The baby bulb can recognised his smell, and the baby bulb follows him home and it hope that he can find its mother. Do you want to know whether it can find its mother? Let's look at the following video.

Self Portrait (Art Movement)

  This is my self portrait. I was drawing the toyism movement.This portrait is all about me. Firstly, you can see my teeth  is a piano keyboard ,this is because I like to play piano, I like music. Second is the two question mark, this is because I always have a lot of questions to ask. Last but not least, also the most important is abut the colour. When you see this picture you can see this picture is very colourful and also will feel very joyful. but if you have careful observation , you can see I use the black colour to do background, this is a serious undertone. It just like my character, even I usually joke, but I also will become serious when do the important decisions.

  From this assignment I can learn many type of art movement. I also want to thank Miss Maslisa. I still remember that when I show her my first movement, she reject my work. She asked me choose another movement, because she feel that I don't understand well the movement that I choose. After this, I found the toyism movement and this time I have choose the right movement for myself.
