IDP Project 3

For this project, at first we were required to visit a site. This time our site is - The Greyhouse  the location of the site is at Bangsar. 
In this project, I am in Modelling Group. This time we were 10 person in modelling group.
We are required to build the site model in scale in order to let everyone understand the site better. 
In modelling group, we also divide into 3 group, which is Ground Floor Group, First Floor Group, and also Outdoor Group. I was involve in building the Ground Floor Level of the building.

IDP Project 2

For this project, we were required to design a kiosk to promote the curative retreat centre. This project still is a group project, the members are still the same with the first project.

In this project, we also required to design 3 CIS item to put in our kiosk. Below are the Kiosk and the 3 CIS items.

IDP Project 1

For the first project, we were 3 person in a group. And we were required to research on a given topic, and at the end of this project, we have to present it in a video.

The topic of my group was CEREBRAL. For the topic, we need research about the word, and look into the issues and the services that a curative retreat would provide for the issues.

The imagination of my future

Ten years later, I am 30 years old, what will happen?Ten years later I should be an interior designer.Doing my love work, live a fulfilling life.At that time, I have my own coffee shop.When I’m tired of work, I can sit in the cafe and enjoy the aroma of coffeeWhen I’m free, I will go travel with my family.At that time I should have my own family.Everyday before going to work, I will send my children to school with my husband.On weekends, I will go to park for some activity.
At that time I will having a simple and fulfilling life, although it is very simple but I think it will be very happy.

What if you dad refused to help you?
What would happen to you?
Would you be happy or sad? Why?

If my dad refused to help me, I think I will try and talk to my mom. But as i know, my mom is the person that hardly communicate. Because I dislike to argue, so every time discussion in the end I will choose to follow what my mom decision. Another reason that why I choose to follow my mom because I respect her and she won't hurt me. So, if that time my dad didn't help me, I think now I wouldn't sitting at here and doing what I do now. Would I be happy or sad? It is a good question. Maybe if that time I didn't uphold my dream I will be more happy than now, how I know? But I believe what I'm doing now is what I want and arrangement of God.

The song that I chosen is a chinese song - "I speak for myself". This song is talking about to pursue a dream is not easy. In addition to face their own shortcomings, but also may face opposition from family members and outsiders.These will be questioned and ridiculed after the elimination of all dreams come true , as long as know their in the end what you are doing , even if the result is not imagined it , but they have done their best ability , it must no regrets.

Because of this song I uphold for my dream. Because at first my mom was not approval me to taking interior architecture for my university course.Luckily at that time, I heard about this song. I think if that time I didn't heard about it, maybe I really will give up of my dream.

For me a nice song is not how rich that the rhythm or the melody, it is all about how meaningful or powerful that the lyric.

Detailing and Working Drawing (assignment 3)

Detailing and Working Drawing -group assignment 2

For this assignment, I am grouping with Ester and Sean. We are given a task which is a measure drawing and report. Through this assignment, we learnt how to measure at the site and look into building details. By completing the report, I have more understanding of building construction and materials. I am also get to know UBBL and learnt how to use it in my future as an interior designer.

Detailing and Working Drawings (TASK 3:Observation Drawing)

For this task,we were asked to observe, sketch, and write the specifications.We were required to study 3 types of furniture with different materials. I picked a table, a chair and a cabinet to observation.

Based from the lecture given, we have to sketch three furniture and write the appropriate specification.. For each furniture we have to sketch minimum 2 sketch drawing (plan/section/detail/3D) and 2 specification .
